Volume 1 & 2 have been sent out to your DTRPG accounts!
This is the email question that we asked in the survey. If you don't see it in your email be sure to check your spam folders (as dtrpg emails sometimes end up there)
If you can't find it, feel free to send me a message and I'll send it out to you (if I don't respond, just send a reminder email, there's a lot to keep track of and I want to make sure you all get your rewards).

Progress Update

Hey Backers,

I meant to send out an update yesterday but work got the better of me, anyways here are a few updates since the project for you guys!

Volume 2 Update

We had hit a few minor roadblocks in production, partially realizing that this book is sufficiently longer than Volume 1 (almost double the legnth), which I didn't think would be too much an issue, but this put a considerable strain upon our solo editor to get the job done. So to help him out he brought an associate editor to help him out with the task. At this point we're more than 3/4 of the way done, and we expect no other delays. Our new target deadline is May 10th, with the print file being due May 15th. This will provide us with a sufficient buffer in case there are any additional complications. 

Volume 1 PDF Fufillment

I hope you are all enjoying your Baby Bestiary Volume 1 PDF, we had made some color balance changes (as some of the images looked a little dark) in addition we had also snuck in a by-line into each entry so you know the author who had written it (we're doing this as well for Volume 2). 
These PDFs were sent out via Backerkits digital fufillment service, If you have not recieved your Volume 1 PDF, feel free to reach out and I will do my best to assist you.

Owlbear Miniature

from our Iconic Owlbear image in volume 1, and due to our stretch goals, we comissioned a owlbear model to be made. We've put in an order with a 3d printer to see how it comes out, then we can do a preorder once we get some samples in to show you. 
Would you guys prefer lead-free pewter or resin minis? 
and what size? (traditional size is 30mm) but we could do smaller (eg 15-20mm to be more baby-ish)

Partial PDF Delivery

Hey Backers, 
I know several of you have reached out asking about the digital delivery,

I finished my revisions to volume 1 and just sent it out to you guys via backerkit,
As for volume 2, I am still hard at work getting all the text cleaned up and in format, 
my original deadline was the 16th to have the print document ready, but I was fortunate to have an extension. 
I am hoping to have volume 2 finished this week.

As thanks for waiting, here is the color of the Tarasque Cub :)
*and for those confused, D&D has a Tarrasque (2 r's) which is different from the Tarasque which is based off of french mythology

Backerkit Survey Deadline April 14th!

Hey Guys, 
there is about 91 of you who have not gotten to your backerkit surveys. If you have not gotten your survey, please reach out to me via messenger (I can get you your link), or feel free to reach out to Backerkit via this link.https://baby-bestiary-volume-2-and-vol-1-reprint.backerkit.com/faq#contact-us

The reason is I want to get your names into the book as our kickstarter supporters who made the book possible and I am planning on submitting the print document of the book this friday (may have a slight delay, but thats the plan). And so I'll need you guys to at least respond to the survey questions by thisThursday, APRIL 14th!!

It is important to note, I am not closing backerkit on this day, I am just pulling the final list of names on that date, so If your name is not in the Backerkit survey question by the deadline above then your name will not be in the Print version of the book. Backerkit will still be open for upgrades and preorders until the end of the June.

Aside from that we've had a ton of progress on images, here are a few of them :D

Backerkit Surveys Have Been Sent

I have just sent out the surveys for backerkit, where you can manage your pledge, input your shipping information (and update it), upgrade your pledge or even pick add-ons.

Im waiting on sending out the PDFs until the 16th, where both book PDFs will be completed, in addition it gives us time for people to adjust their pledges.

As for the work on my plate, I have a very tight deadline schedule to maintain, and I'll be keeping you guys in the loop as soon as I get notice on whats going on. First deadline is the print PDF to be submitted by April 15th (crazy to think it took 3 months to get art and two months of writing to put this entire book together).
